Honoring Abilities Speech and Language is a private practice based in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

We provide consultation, screenings, independent evaluations, and on-location (or virtual) speech-language therapy.

The name Honoring Abilities directly relates to our mission and core beliefs.

Our Mission:

Honoring Abilities Speech and Language LLC aims to provide children and adults with strategies and skills needed to meet their communication goals with dignity, through an inclusive, respectful, collaborative, and neurodiversity affirming lens.

Our Core Beliefs:

• Communication is a human right.

• You/Your child possess abilities that are to be honored, appreciated, and celebrated.

• Your/your child's neurotype should be respected and accepted.

• AAC is for all; competence should always be presumed.

• There are important distinctions between disorders and differences.

• Speech-language pathology services should be individualized, comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based.
